Responsibilities
- Create security roadmaps and design solutions that integrate security into key business projects.
- Drive end-to-end architecture for scalable hybrid-cloud infrastructure platforms across on-premises environments and AWS.
- Champion high availability, performance, security, and cost-optimization practices across architectures.
- Implement security solutions that improve prevention, detection, and response capabilities.
- Maintain relationships with vendors providing or augmenting IT security services.
- Participate in design meetings, reviews, implementation projects, and cross-department coordination.
- Develop and maintain security processes, procedures, and documentation.
- Provide approximately 10% on-call support for breaches and escalated issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, or training.
- At least 8 years of direct work experience.
- Experience managing and maintaining network, security, and cloud technologies.
- Experience developing or refining secure hybrid-cloud architectures.
- Knowledge of IPS/IDS, firewalls, MFA, NAC, and TLS/SSL security technologies.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security services in AWS and Azure.
- Proficiency integrating security-oriented technology platforms.
- Strong communication, critical-thinking, prioritization, ownership, and cross-functional relationship-building skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CISM, or CISSP are preferred.
- Cloud Security Engineering and Design experience or certifications and CTF competition experience are preferred.
- U.S. citizenship is required; candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

- Base pay range is $115,000–$150,000 USD, with potential eligibility for company stock and an annual bonus.

- Hybrid schedule requires at least four days per week, approximately 80%, in an Iridium office.
