Base Salary
$149k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead root-cause investigations across platform, firmware, and software layers by analyzing system behavior, memory dumps, field telemetry, and low-level code.
- Design and deploy automated diagnostics, predictive health-monitoring services, and AI-assisted workflow tools.
- Partner directly with hyperscale customer engineering teams to resolve deep integration challenges and improve platform reliability.
- Drive escalation findings into core product roadmaps through long-term engineering fixes and fleet-wide reliability improvements.
Requirements
- Deep hands-on experience in Linux systems engineering, platforms, or low-level firmware.
- Strong knowledge of storage technologies such as SSDs, NVMe, NAND, or distributed storage architectures.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems using Python, Go, or C++.
- Ability to build automated tools for log analysis, telemetry, and system diagnostics.
- Strong technical communication and problem-solving skills for collaborating with internal subject-matter experts and external engineering leadership.
