Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate highly scalable software services for Amazon FSx for Lustre.
- Solve complex distributed-systems problems with a diverse team of engineers.
- Design and deliver reliable, high-performance functionality for AWS-scale storage workloads.
- Use serverless and virtualization technologies, infrastructure-as-code, and automated monitoring and health management.
- Mentor and grow junior engineers.
- Contribute to an inclusive and collaborative team culture.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development life-cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
