Base Salary
$97k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full stack Java applications using Spring Boot, React, and Oracle.
- Write tested production code and collaborate with engineers to deliver sprint goals.
- Design and build RESTful and GraphQL APIs supporting microservices and cloud-native applications.
- Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate services using Kubernetes.
- Investigate performance and coding issues and implement lasting fixes.
- Shape technical and team standards with technical leadership.
- Use AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve delivery and code quality.
- Break down acceptance criteria to clarify scope, complexity, and risk for backlog items.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of Java data structures and object-oriented design principles.
- Experience designing microservices and event-driven systems using frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Experience developing user interfaces with JavaScript frameworks such as React, plus HTML5 and CSS.
- Ability to write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries against Oracle databases.
- Experience with Maven, Gradle, Docker, and Jenkins for building and deploying code.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Angular experience, exposure to Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI tools, AWS experience, and familiarity with JIRA and GitHub Enterprise are beneficial.
- Experience automating unit, integration, and end-to-end tests is beneficial.
