Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive new product experiences from concept through polished, shipped UI.
- Lead frontend architecture, including application structure, state management, component libraries, design systems, build tooling, testing strategy, and performance budgets.
- Integrate interfaces with agentic services and streaming responses, including tool-call visualization, human-in-the-loop approvals, and real-time updates.
- Build high-performance visualizations for large, fast-moving spectrum, map, and time-series datasets.
- Partner with product, design, and backend engineers to translate ambiguous goals into concrete interfaces.
- Establish frontend engineering standards for accessibility, testing, code review, and CI practices.
- Help define how agentic capabilities are natively incorporated into the product experience.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional frontend or UI engineering experience shipping production web applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with both Angular and React.
- Experience with TypeScript, component-driven architecture, state management, modern build tooling, and frontend testing.
- Experience designing and building a UI architecture from scratch for at least one significant product.
- Experience integrating with real-time and streaming backends such as WebSockets and SSE.
- Experience or interest in building interfaces for AI or agentic systems.
- Strong product sense and attention to detail.
- Preferred experience with D3, deck.gl, WebGL, Canvas-based rendering, Mapbox, MapLibre, or Cesium.
- Preferred experience building design systems or component libraries used across multiple teams.
- Preferred familiarity with Node, Python, and cloud deployment of frontend assets.
- Preferred experience designing for operators in high-stakes or time-critical environments.
