Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain understanding of the full software development and deployment pipeline.
- Design, build, and maintain automation for cloud deployments with zero downtime.
- Support application infrastructure to optimize platform performance and reliability.
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Perform and automate system administration tasks.
- Identify and resolve scalability and reliability issues.
- Manage incident response and provide hands-on support during service interruptions.
- Assist with root cause analysis and maintain SLAs.
- Build automation and tooling for security and compliance.
- Monitor and improve deployment processes.
- Mentor engineers to deliver high-quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years as a Software Developer, Systems Engineer, or DevOps Engineer.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Docker, Chef, or Terraform.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and web services.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins.
- Working knowledge of scripting and programming languages such as Java, Python, Perl, or Ruby.
- Agile development experience (Scrum, XP, Kanban).
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with distributed logging and event-based automation.
