Base Salary

$185k - $255k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Contribute high-quality production code while driving technical alignment and mentoring team members.
  • Lead architectural decisions and complex engineering initiatives from planning through delivery.
  • Chunk and sequence work to maximize parallelization, maintain throughput, and ship features efficiently.
  • Build SaaS applications that balance complexity, quality, customer value, and delivery speed.
  • Improve engineering controls, communication channels, predictability, and system reliability.
  • Own end-to-end product initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business goals into technical solutions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of delivering significant projects in fast-paced production SaaS environments.
  • Holistic understanding of web architectures and comfort working across broad systems.
  • Deep expertise in modern programming languages and web application frameworks.
  • Strong competence in relational database data modeling and distributed cloud platforms.
  • Ability to make architectural trade-offs, operate under pressure, and independently drive ambiguous business goals to technical solutions.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as fintech or healthcare is preferred.
  • Security, reliability, and compliance awareness is preferred.
