Responsibilities
- Implement Databricks REST API write-back for labeled outputs, DataCard provenance records, and synthetic content outputs.
- Build and validate Duality backend integration, including catalog intake configuration, parameter translation, asynchronous job lifecycle management, retries, and output handling.
- Implement ServiceNow REST integration for the white-glove routing intake path.
- Build and maintain storefront backend services connecting the frontend UI with platform components.
- Implement DataCard write-back in coordination with the Solution Architect.
- Design and maintain asynchronous job queues and retry logic across integration surfaces.
- Structure output metadata for DataCard provenance records according to DoD distribution statement requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with equivalent experience eligible to substitute on a 2-for-1 basis.
- 6+ years of total professional experience, including 4+ years of backend or API integration engineering.
- Strong production-grade Python backend development experience.
- Experience integrating REST APIs using asynchronous submission, polling, retry, and webhook patterns.
- Databricks REST API experience or strong familiarity with Spark or the Databricks platform.
- Experience with JSON schema design and structured metadata handling.
- Active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.
- ServiceNow REST API integration experience is preferred.
- Federal program API integration experience is preferred.
- ZenML or machine-learning orchestration pipeline familiarity is preferred.
- React or modern frontend experience for storefront support is preferred.
Benefits

- Expected hourly salary range is $75 to $80 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
