Base Salary
$86k - $138k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define cloud implementation approaches and plans to optimize cloud performance and reliability.
- Design, architect, elicit requirements for, develop, operate, and support cloud technologies and platforms for mission solutions.
- Leverage software-, platform-, and infrastructure-as-a-service to deliver GEOINT solutions.
- Analyze cloud infrastructure and make engineering recommendations for reliability and resiliency.
- Monitor and report on cloud utilization and plan continuous process improvement.
- Ensure efficient utilization of cloud services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM degree program.
- At least 6 years of experience supporting or leading cloud-based systems engineering efforts in government or industry.
- TS/SCI clearance adjudication or the ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph.
- One or more cloud certifications are desired, including AWS Certified, Cisco Certified Networking Administrator – Cloud, Cisco Certified Network Professional – Cloud, IBM Certified Cloud Solution Architect, MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, or VMware Certified Professional (VCP7-CMA).
- Citrix XenApp expertise or certification is desired.
- Experience with scripting or automation using PowerShell, VBScript, AutoIT, or similar tools is desired.
- SAN storage infrastructure experience, particularly with EMC, is desired.
- Microsoft Clustering experience is desired.
- Microsoft SQL installation, configuration, and troubleshooting experience is desired.
