Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel computational photography algorithms.
- Improve image quality and create new computational photography features for Rylo cameras and future products.
- Develop end-to-end solutions from algorithm design and implementation through quality evaluation, performance optimization, and deployment.
- Collaborate with software engineers, hardware engineers, and designers to develop consumer camera products.
- Transfer technology to product groups and help ship new ideas in products.
Requirements
- Master’s degree and four years of experience, or a PhD, in electrical engineering or computer science.
- Excellent knowledge of image-processing, computer-vision, and computational-photography theory and practice.
- Fluency in C and C++ programming.
- Fluency in a rapid-prototyping environment such as MATLAB.
- Strong communication skills.
- Parallel-programming experience with CUDA, Halide, OpenCL, or Metal is a strong plus.
