Responsibilities

  • Produce high-level designs for middleware architecture solutions.
  • Maintain the middleware technology roadmap in line with end-of-support dates.
  • Collaborate with Delivery, Engineering, and Operations teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Ensure solutions comply with policies, standards, and non-functional requirements for performance, scalability, availability, security, and manageability.
  • Identify, assess, and communicate technical risks to business and operations stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and trial products and emerging technologies for project and future use.
  • Identify technology trends, continuous-improvement opportunities, and sustainable solutions.
  • Communicate architectural vision and roadmaps clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Follow Mastercard security policies, protect information confidentiality and integrity, report suspected breaches, and complete required security training.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of career experience in a similar field or technology.
  • Experience with IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler, MQ, and SWIFT technologies including SAA, SAG, and SWP.
  • Experience with GoAnywhere MFT and GAG for file transfer.
  • Experience with Oracle Middleware, including ODI for data integration and OAS application server.
  • Java, observability, and scripting experience, including Python.
  • Experience with PKI signing software such as SafeTronic and integration with HSMs.
  • Significant experience working in demanding, high-availability environments.
  • Proven experience delivering complex technical designs and architectures.
  • Ability to present complex technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Understanding of how technology solutions deliver non-functional requirements such as performance and availability.
  • Flexibility to adopt new products, services, strategies, and ways of working.
  • Ability to identify market and competitive trends, explain technical problems clearly, and develop effective solutions.
