Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and deliver responsive, scalable, maintainable, and WCAG-compliant micro-frontend UI architecture.
- Develop high-quality frontend components and interfaces for eCommerce products.
- Apply modern software engineering practices, API design, and architecture to integrate Ford products and external cloud services.
- Use AI coding assistants such as Ford LLM and GitHub Copilot, including prompt design and guard-railing.
- Implement UI features from Figma design specifications.
- Analyze and improve product performance using Lighthouse, Dynatrace, and other monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, architects, cloud, security, SRE, and DevOps experts.
- Test and debug UI issues across browsers and devices and troubleshoot production issues.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with React, Next.js, or a similar stack.
- Experience with micro-frontends, server-side rendering, client-side rendering, and static site generation.
- Proficiency in unit, integration, acceptance, and contract testing using tools such as Jest and Playwright.
- Strong JavaScript skills, including DOM manipulation and object model knowledge.
- Knowledge of React state-management workflows such as Flux, Zustand, or Redux.
- Understanding of performance optimization, Core Web Vitals, SEO, web security, OWASP Top 10, XSS, CSRF, CSP, OAuth 2.0, and JWT.
- Understanding of WCAG requirements and experience with design-system libraries.
- Hands-on experience with ES6, Babel, React, Node.js, NPM, Yarn, and Webpack.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind, JavaScript, TypeScript, SMACSS, and BEM.
- Experience with monorepo environments such as Turborepo or Nx and code-sharing tools such as JFrog or Nexus.
- Awareness of headless architecture and experience with headless or classic CMS platforms.
- Experience in eCommerce or similar customer-facing platform development is highly desirable.
- Strong aesthetic sense covering layout, grid systems, color theory, and typography.
- Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, accountability, and ability to work effectively with global cross-functional teams.
