Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners and analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and transformations using Snowflake and DBT.
- Develop scalable and maintainable data models and uphold data modeling best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, data quality issues, and reliability gaps.
- Evaluate evolving technologies, including AI and LLMs, for applicability to team challenges.
Requirements
- Solid data warehousing experience with hands-on Snowflake and DBT expertise.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with database modeling and design.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with CI/CD practices, preferably Jenkins or an equivalent tool.
- Working knowledge of AWS cloud services and Apache Airflow is desirable.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code, particularly Terraform, is desirable.
- Programming experience in Python and/or Java is desirable.
- Exposure to AI/ML tooling or LLM-based solutions is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, technical ownership, and learning skills.
