Responsibilities
- Build and maintain production-grade full stack applications using React, Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS technologies
- Develop scalable backend services and modern frontend experiences for secure web and mobile applications
- Design and implement REST and GraphQL APIs
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code meeting performance, security, and quality standards
- Design and implement event-driven and service-oriented solutions
- Contribute to architecture discussions and technical design decisions
- Build solutions using AWS services and SQL/NoSQL databases
- Integrate internal systems with third-party APIs and external services
- Implement logging, monitoring, and observability
- Optimize production application performance, reliability, and scalability
- Own features from design through deployment and ongoing support
- Document technical designs, workflows, and architectural decisions
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving
- Evaluate emerging technologies, AI-powered services, and third-party integrations
- Leverage agentic AI tools to improve development efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience building production-grade applications
- Strong experience with React, Node.js, and TypeScript
- Experience with C# preferred; Java experience is also considered
- Experience building modern frontend applications and scalable backend services
- Strong experience designing and implementing REST and GraphQL APIs
- Experience with event-driven and service-oriented architectures
- Experience developing cloud-native applications using AWS services and SQL/NoSQL databases
- Understanding of distributed systems; Kafka or similar event-streaming technology experience is a plus
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and external services
- Experience implementing application monitoring, logging, and observability
- Strong understanding of software design principles, object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms
- Experience building highly scalable SaaS applications is a plus
- Experience with AI-powered services or modern AI development tools is a plus
- Experience building secure enterprise software or working in regulated industries is a plus
