Base Salary
$140k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain production-grade full stack applications using React, Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS.
- Develop scalable backend services and modern frontend experiences for secure web and mobile applications.
- Design and implement REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that meets performance, security, and quality standards.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and technical design decisions.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and observability to improve production visibility.
- Take ownership of features from design through deployment and ongoing support.
- Partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to improve engineering productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience building production-grade applications.
- Strong experience with React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Experience with C# preferred; Java experience also considered.
- Experience designing and implementing REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Experience developing cloud-native applications using AWS services and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of distributed systems; experience with Kafka or similar event streaming technologies is a plus.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
