Base Salary
$109k - $164k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver complex applications and services integrating with enterprise platforms.
- Own frontend architecture, solution architecture, technical strategy, code reviews, performance budgets, and code quality.
- Lead automated unit, integration, end-to-end, and component testing, reliability practices, performance monitoring, and root-cause analysis.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, environment health, observability, and operational readiness.
- Guide secure coding, least-privilege design, dependency hygiene, and remediation of security findings.
- Collaborate with product, UX, factory stakeholders, and enterprise platform teams to align technical decisions with business outcomes.
- Mentor teammates through pairing, knowledge sharing, technical guidance, and actionable feedback.
- Maintain architecture records, API contracts, production support guides, and onboarding documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement using experiments and metrics related to quality, cycle time, MTTR, and cost.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of React experience building complex component-based single-page applications and owning frontend architecture.
- At least 4 years of TypeScript experience, including strict typing, generics, discriminated unions, type-safe APIs, and reusable type utilities.
- At least 4 years of consistent test-driven development experience with unit, integration, and component testing.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience packaging, deploying, and operating services in CaaS or Kubernetes environments.
- Experience with Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, observability, resource management, Pod Disruption Budgets, and secure application configuration.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and familiarity with data pipelines such as Databricks and Kafka.
- Preferred experience in manufacturing, factory operations, performance optimization, New Relic, Datadog, Terraform, infrastructure-as-code, secure deployment, dependency scanning, and enterprise compliance.
- Experience participating in architecture councils, code-quality initiatives, mentoring programs, and Agile or Lean delivery.
- A four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering, or equivalent related work experience.
