Base Salary
$158k - $238k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver large projects and new product capabilities while maintaining key code repositories
- Break down complex problems, ensure predictable delivery, and identify and resolve incident root causes
- Collaborate on technical roadmaps and execute strategies balancing short- and long-term trade-offs
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, onboarding support, and real-time pairing
- Integrate AI technologies to automate processes and enhance product features
- Improve feature maintainability, availability, performance, architecture, and developer tooling
- Architect and implement end-to-end solutions, tested APIs, and data models while profiling systems for scaling bottlenecks
- Support production systems in an owner-operator DevOps culture and document technical solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- At least 5 years of non-internship full-time professional software development experience
- At least 2 years of experience with one or more software programming languages
- At least 2 years of experience across the full software development life cycle
- Experience delivering large software projects or features in production
- Proficiency in a modern programming language such as Golang, Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Experience with AI technologies for software design and coding assistance is preferred
- Experience mentoring or onboarding junior engineers is preferred
- Familiarity with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, or scalable architectures is preferred
- Experience with healthcare technology or regulated environments is preferred
- Experience with data ingestion, integration, and security is preferred
- Practical knowledge of gRPC, protobufs, Temporal, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services such as AWS is preferred
