Responsibilities
- Build and ship features across Champion platform repositories using trunk-based development and PR-gated merges.
- Improve developer experience through tooling, scaffolding, internal documentation, and onboarding paths for Applied AI engineers.
- Maintain and evolve the MCP tool server and agent infrastructure used by business-unit teams.
- Support Applied AI engineers in building, deploying, and operating Champion agents correctly.
- Review agent implementations for prompt quality, scope enforcement, authentication configuration, and deployment setup.
- Pair with business-unit engineers on Kubernetes manifest creation, database registration, and LaunchDarkly prompt rollouts.
- Design and build Champion agents for business-unit use cases, including system prompts, tool bindings, and context injection.
- Contribute to internal engineering guides, skills documentation, and agent evaluation workflows.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on software development experience specializing in Python, Golang, and AI-driven systems.
- Proficiency with Python async development, FastAPI, Pydantic, pytest, pytest-asyncio, DeepEval, Docker, PostgreSQL, and Git.
- Understanding of Model Context Protocol, Agent-to-Agent protocol, and multi-agent architectures.
- Experience with prompt engineering, agent orchestration, and evaluation design.
- Familiarity with LaunchDarkly, Cursor, and Claude Code.
- Working knowledge of AWS, including ECR, EKS, and Bedrock; Kubernetes and Terraform are nice-to-have qualifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- A master’s degree or M.Tech in Computer Science, AI, or ML is preferred.
- Exposure to manufacturing or industrial software contexts is preferred.
