Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable Java applications.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to solution design.
- Perform hands-on coding, debugging, and troubleshooting of complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features on time.
- Implement coding, performance optimization, and security best practices.
- Reduce technical debt and improve code quality using tools such as SonarQube and Fortify.
- Support production systems and ensure timely issue resolution.
Requirements
- Experience with Java 8 or later.
- Experience with Angular 8 or later or a similar UI framework such as ReactJS.
- Knowledge of Spring Boot, Quarkus, and ORM frameworks.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and web services including REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
- Experience with Putty, SoapUI, and Postman.
- Experience with GitLab or a similar CI/CD tool.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Preferred experience with SonarQube, Fortify, and WebInspect.
- Preferred knowledge of SOA, microservices, event-driven programming, and hexagonal architecture.
- Preferred experience with Maven, Ant, or Gradle.
- Preferred experience with JIRA and Confluence.
