Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, implement, install, and improve software applications in accordance with coding standards and technical designs.
- Analyze business needs, requirements, system flows, data usage, work processes, and problem areas to determine feasible software solutions.
- Define application architectures, interfaces, responsibilities, deployment considerations, and nonfunctional requirements.
- Document and demonstrate software solutions, including flow charts, layouts, system specifications, and related documentation.
- Participate in software testing through test review, analysis, witnessing, and certification.
- Communicate development information and issues while protecting confidential information and IT assets.
Requirements
- Understand software programming, testing standards, software development lifecycle practices, and industry standards for traditional and agile development.
- Understand multiple architectures and how to apply architecture principles to software solutions.
- Be able to analyze requirements, define solutions, and create tools that address business needs.
- Participate in ongoing professional education and maintain awareness of relevant professional publications and organizations.
