Responsibilities
- Apply engineering principles to solve complex software problems.
- Work with stakeholders to determine user requirements for features.
- Learn and apply new engineering methods and industry best practices.
- Complete software projects collaboratively and manage time effectively.
- Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, performance, monitoring, and operations at scale.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, with at least one semester remaining after the internship, or currently pursuing a Master’s degree under the same conditions.
- Preferred: 1+ year of programming experience.
- Preferred: 6+ months of experience delivering projects in teams.
- Preferred: 1+ year of experience developing and applying data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: coursework or experience in cybersecurity, networking, operating systems, or secure software development.
- Preferred: familiarity with identity and access management, authentication, authorization, RBAC, or governance controls.
- Preferred: experience with C#, Java, Go, Rust, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Preferred: interest in threat modeling, secure coding, compliance, cloud security, and protecting large-scale services.
