Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and troubleshoot SAP B2G applications and modules.
- Gather requirements and document functional specifications.
- Support SAP integration with other enterprise systems using RFCs, ABAP proxies, SOAP web services, SAP PI/PO, and IDocs.
- Develop and maintain ABAP applications, including reports, module pools, dialog programs, interactive reports, ALV reports, function modules, and object-oriented ABAP designs.
- Develop and modify SAP Data Dictionary objects and implement enhancement options such as user exits, BAdIs, and the Enhancement Framework.
- Analyze and optimize performance using SQL Trace and the ABAP Debugger, and resolve complex application issues.
- Conduct unit and integration testing and support User Acceptance Testing.
- Maintain technical specifications, user manuals, and system configuration documentation.
- Collaborate with functional teams, business users, technical teams, external partners, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 4 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP SD and FI modules.
- Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA in functional and technical environments.
- Proficiency in ABAP development, debugging, performance optimization, reusable function modules, and object-oriented design.
- Experience with SAP Data Dictionary objects, SAP Development Workbench transactions, enhancement options, RFCs, ABAP proxies, SOAP web services, SAP PI/PO, WSDL, XML, and IDocs.
- Expertise developing ALV reports using function modules, OO ALV, and SALV.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, technical documentation, and collaboration with non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of ABAP Unit testing is preferred.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
