Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using TypeScript on AWS serverless platforms.
- Lead technical discussions and collaborate on architecture, design, and implementation strategies.
- Create workflow diagrams and technical documentation.
- Debug and resolve production issues using AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, and other monitoring tools.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Build OpenSearch indexes to support natural-language search.
- Use AI tools for development, code review, validation, and test generation.
- Maintain unit test coverage and optimize services for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Apply CI/CD concepts using tools such as GitHub Actions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Expertise with AWS Lambda, SQS, RDS, and Step Functions.
- Proficiency in TypeScript; Python or Java experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented and functional programming.
- Experience debugging with AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, or similar tools.
- Ability to lead technical discussions, produce workflow diagrams, mentor developers, and perform code reviews.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
- Experience scaling and tuning services for performance and reliability.
- Familiarity with npm private packages and modern package management.
- Understanding of relational, NoSQL, and caching database types.
- Experience building OpenSearch indexes and using AI tools to accelerate development and review.
- Commitment to unit testing with high coverage and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- AWS certifications, infrastructure-as-code experience with CloudFormation or Terraform, and containerization experience with Docker, ECS, or EKS are preferred.
