Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, CSM, FSM, ITOM, HAM, and SAM.
- Configure incident, change, problem, request, customer service, field service, asset management, and service catalog processes.
- Build custom scoped applications, workflows, automations, portals, Employee Center experiences, Virtual Agent flows, and integrations on the Now Platform and App Engine.
- Develop server-side logic, Script Includes, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, ACLs, and REST/SOAP integrations.
- Deliver ITOM capabilities including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CMDB health, and MID Server administration.
- Manage hardware and software asset lifecycles, including procurement, normalization, reconciliation, and license compliance.
- Own release management, update sets, Application Repository promotions, instance cloning, upgrades, patching, regression testing, and skip-list remediation.
- Lead solution design workshops, document architectures, create user training, troubleshoot platform issues, and partner with QA, DevOps, and support teams.
- Perform platform administration involving users, groups, roles, ACLs, system properties, scheduled jobs, plugins, and instance health.
- Uphold coding standards, peer review, platform governance, access controls, and performance-conscious development practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development, architecture, and delivery experience across ITSM, CSM, FSM, ITOM, and HAM.
- Required ServiceNow certifications include CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM, and CIS-CSM.
- Practical experience configuring FSM dispatching, scheduling, and mobile workforce automation.
- Strong experience with Script Includes, Business Rules, GlideRecord, Flow Designer, Integration Hub and spokes, REST/SOAP, and Scripted REST APIs.
- Experience designing Virtual Agent conversational flows, NLU, AI, and Now Assist service-operations automations.
- Ability to lead solution design workshops, translate requirements into scalable architectures, and manage the full SDLC in Agile delivery.
- Expertise in ITOM, Discovery, CMDB design, CSDM, data modeling, and platform performance optimization.
- Hands-on CSM implementation experience involving case management, CSM or Configurable Workspace, and account and contact data models.
- Experience building Service Catalog content and Service Portal and Employee Center experiences.
- Demonstrated experience developing custom scoped applications on App Engine.
- Experience with MID Server setup, clustering, troubleshooting, and core platform administration.
- Experience with application lifecycle management, instance cloning, platform upgrades and patches, and skip-list remediation.
- Solid Hardware Asset Management experience covering lifecycle tracking, reconciliation, and procurement integration.
- CIS-Discovery or CIS-Hardware Asset Management certification is preferred.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
