Responsibilities
- Evaluate plant-floor technologies and workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for innovation.
- Design, build, maintain, and improve custom Microsoft Power Apps applications for plant-floor processes.
- Develop Power Automate workflows for notifications, approvals, escalations, and Teams adaptive card interactions.
- Integrate applications, databases, workflows, and dashboards into a unified digital ecosystem.
- Lead training and change management, including documentation, user guides, and stakeholder communication.
- Maintain SharePoint and Teams engineering-data structures, including versioning and metadata.
- Extract, clean, and standardize data from manufacturing systems for reporting and analysis.
- Support Industry 4.0 initiatives by converting manual processes into structured digital workflows.
- Coordinate meetings and presentations and organize project, customer, and internal information.
- Follow company health, safety, quality, environmental, operational, and compliance procedures.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in software engineering, computer science, mechatronics, or a related discipline.
- Programming or scripting skills in Python, SQL, JavaScript, DAX, or Power Fx.
- Database and query skills, with SQL preferred.
- Experience building Power Apps canvas apps and Power Automate flows.
- Experience with Power BI and proficiency in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- C#/.NET Framework experience is an asset.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, teamwork, confidentiality, and adaptability skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime and to travel as needed to meet customer requirements.
- Ability to work safely in office and plant environments and perform the essential duties of the position.
