Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end migration solutions for large and complex codebases and services.
- Develop technical plans, architecture decisions, and execution strategies for multi-year migrations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, identify technical risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with program managers, infrastructure teams, and service owners to execute migrations safely and efficiently.
- Review migration metrics, design decisions, reliability, performance, and data consistency issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team’s technical excellence.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building production software.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

- Position is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, with an annual base salary range of CAD 114,800 to CAD 191,800; total compensation may also include sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
