Responsibilities
- Develop clean, maintainable, and documented software under guidance.
- Investigate and fix assigned bugs and participate in debugging and triage.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests and participate in QA and code review activities.
- Use Git for commits, branching, pull requests, and merges.
- Support continuous integration and deployment processes.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, task planning, and team delivery goals.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for assigned work.
- Work with mentors and lead engineers to improve technical and domain knowledge.
Requirements
- 0–1 years of experience building enterprise systems.
- Strong Python fundamentals and basic JavaScript ES6+ and object-oriented programming knowledge.
- Exposure to Flask or FastAPI and experience creating or consuming web services.
- Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
- Understanding of unit testing, code coverage, code quality practices, and application debugging.
- Proficiency with Git and familiarity with branching, pull requests, and merges.
- B-Tech degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and SDLC practices.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Airflow, Celery, RabbitMQ, ELK, Datadog, Splunk, New Relic, AWS, Azure, or GCP is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, adaptability, willingness to learn, accountability, and positive collaboration skills.
