Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, code, test, maintain, enhance, and develop application components.
- Analyze raw data, identify trends and patterns, conduct complex data analysis, and report results.
- Build data systems and pipelines and combine information from multiple sources.
- Develop workflows, small applications, and dashboards independently on the Skywise platform.
- Collaborate with product teams, peers, stakeholders, and airline end users to understand and deliver solutions.
- Elicit and document business requirements and articulate airline end-user pain points.
- Create and maintain a repository of developed solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience is stated, with an additional requirement for at least 4 years of Python development experience.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Strong knowledge of Python, PySpark, PySQL, JavaScript, and SQL is required.
- Experience with packaged and customized application integration from a data-analysis perspective is required.
- Strong business analysis, stakeholder engagement, communication, critical-thinking, attention-to-detail, and customer-service skills are required.
- Proficiency with the Skywise platform and tools such as Contour, Code-Workbook, Code, Slate, and Ontology definitions is required.
- Knowledge of airline and MRO operations is preferred.
- DELMIA knowledge is preferred.
