Base Salary
$30 - $70/yr
Responsibilities
- Use LLMs to extract service requirements, preferences, and constraints from conversations, profiles, and context.
- Build provider retrieval and ranking systems using semantic search, recommendation algorithms, and provider features.
- Develop backstage agent workflows connecting intent understanding, retrieval, provider comparison, and recommendation decisions with explainable outputs.
- Integrate business information, reviews, credentials, and service-coverage data through entity matching and other knowledge-integration techniques.
- Create evaluation datasets, analyze failure cases and user feedback, and improve quality, reliability, and latency.
- Work with engineers and product managers from design through launch while shipping and iterating on the product.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python or Java with solid data structures and algorithms.
- Hands-on experience developing LLM applications or agents, including RAG, agent workflows, or evaluation harnesses.
- Understanding of search, recommendation, or machine-learning fundamentals.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with initiative to own results.
- Preferred experience includes embeddings, hybrid search, reranking, learning to rank, or personalized matching.
- Preferred experience includes Elasticsearch, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, vector databases, or data pipelines.
- Shipped products, open-source contributions, independent projects, research, and personal projects are valued; GitHub links and demos are welcome.
Benefits
- Annual base pay range of $30—$70 USD.
- The role may be eligible for a discretionary bonus and options depending on the position.
