Base Salary
$115k - $135k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead daily standups and service review meetings covering incidents, change requests, and operational health.
- Lead a team of 3–4 developers and mentor junior team members.
- Own the operational stability of client AWS environments through monitoring, incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation.
- Manage and execute change requests and enhancement work through Jira.
- Update infrastructure-as-code using CloudFormation and Serverless Framework templates.
- Collaborate with clients on roadmap planning and translate business needs into team backlog items.
- Contribute to internal MSP best practices, tooling standards, documentation, runbooks, and playbooks.
- Identify opportunities to improve client environments using current AWS services and cloud practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of development experience with a strong, recent focus on Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS services.
- Expert knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture, including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, RDS, Redshift, and VPC/network configurations.
- Experience in managed services or operational support, including SLAs, incident management, and change control.
- Thorough knowledge of agile and ITSM methodologies and the ability to combine Scrum practices with service management disciplines.
- Ability to mentor junior developers and maintain constructive team relationships.
- Experience with the Serverless Framework is preferred.
- Python development experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as CloudWatch is preferred.
- Background in Amazon Connect or contact center technology is preferred.
- Experience designing and integrating AI/ML solutions with AWS AI services such as Amazon Lex, Bedrock, SageMaker, Comprehend, or Transcribe is preferred.
- Familiarity with LLM integration patterns, prompt engineering, AI-powered automation, NLP, conversational AI, chatbot development, and voice or chat automation is preferred.
