Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using C#/.NET, Angular, CSS, and Nx.
- Implement maintainable in-memory UI state for live-data screens and apply scalable Angular workspace practices.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate applications with real-time equipment systems using SignalR, MQTT, Modbus, and OPC-UA.
- Extend PostgreSQL and TimescaleDB databases to support new features and performance improvements.
- Investigate, document, and resolve software defects through analysis and corrective action.
- Participate in code reviews, design and planning sessions, and mentor junior engineers through feedback and pair programming.
- Provide development estimates, manage delivery risks, and collaborate with equipment and controls teams on digital and physical system integration.
- Comply with NOV company and HSE policies and perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 5–7 years of professional software development experience in enterprise-level web-based systems.
- Expert proficiency in C#/.NET and object-oriented design, with deep Angular experience.
- Experience with Nx workspace practices, in-memory UI state, RESTful API design, and integration.
- Experience with TimescaleDB and PostgreSQL for telemetry and relational data.
- Strong HTML5, CSS, and responsive UI development fundamentals.
- Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong requirements clarification, development estimation, analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience with Docker, real-time data systems, and protocols such as Modbus, OPC-UA, or MQTT is a plus.
