Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and redesign web applications, APIs, content management systems, and cloud-integrated solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and data science infrastructure.
- Configure and maintain AWS cloud technologies.
- Participate in technical planning, requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Establish engineering process and tooling best practices and collaborate with teams across NOV to deliver and evolve products.
- Mentor junior staff through guidance, direction, and feedback.
- Maintain application quality and stability while complying with NOV and HSE policies and procedures.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of industry experience with programming languages, particularly .NET and preferably C#.
- At least 3 years of front-end development experience with CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5.
- A BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent related experience.
- Experience with databases or database languages including SQL, MongoDB, OSI PI, DocumentDB, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of containers, build systems, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with Angular and AWS services is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ownership, self-sufficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
