Responsibilities
- Work as part of an agile product team using hypothesis-driven development.
- Visualize product usage data in Hadoop and use A/B testing to inform product decisions.
- Develop web user interfaces with React, Redux, and TypeScript.
- Contribute to Agoda’s mobile applications using advanced architectures and testing methodologies.
- Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs using C# and Scala.
- Create real-time monitoring for production systems.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate technical ideas clearly.
Requirements
- Fresh graduates are welcome; preferably candidates have less than two years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in any field with coding experience or completion of a software engineering-related bootcamp.
- Coding skills in at least one language such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Swift, or Kotlin.
- Understanding of basic data structures and algorithms.
- Strong written and verbal English communication, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Experience with data persistence such as RDBMS or NoSQL is beneficial.
- Familiarity with modern frontend or mobile technologies such as React, Vue, Angular, Flutter, native iOS, or native Android applications is beneficial.
- Experience with automated CI/CD systems, test-driven development, clean software architectures, SOLID principles, or open-source contributions on GitHub is beneficial.
