Senior Software Engineer, Video

Responsibilities
- Develop real-time and asynchronous video feeds from remote deployments to web and virtual reality clients.
- Support computer vision front-end and back-end video pipelines, including some object-detection overlap.
- Help design ISR payloads for drones and camera systems for current and future products.
- Build foundational video and data capabilities that integrate with Anduril’s Lattice platform, autonomous robots, and command-and-control systems.
Requirements
- At least five years of general C++ software experience.
- BS degree in an engineering discipline.
- General understanding of camera hardware and video formats.
- Solid understanding of writing reliable, multithreaded software.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Preferred experience with scalable cloud video solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Preferred experience with Kubernetes.
- Preferred experience with vl42, FFmpeg, WebRTC, OpenCV, Python, MP4, MPEG-TS, MISB KLV standards, H264, WebRTC/RTP, Linux, the V4L2 camera API, VA-API, GStreamer, and OpenGL.
