Base Salary
$135k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop well-architected, responsive, performant, and reliable software for Starlink customers and internal users.
- Write frontend code for modern browsers.
- Design, build, maintain, and debug complex backend systems.
- Build tools to manage thousands of Starlink devices worldwide and the systems that serve their data.
- Work across UI/UX design, distributed systems engineering, and embedded software.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical partners to drive successful business outcomes.
- Investigate user problems and create efficient solutions.
- Contribute to architecture, design, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with other Starlink engineering teams to advance engineering processes and culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a STEM discipline and at least 1 year of full-stack software experience, or at least 3 years of professional full-stack software experience in lieu of a degree.
- Internship experience is applicable.
- Programming experience with C#, TypeScript, Python, Go, Scala, Java, or similar.
- Frontend experience with Angular, React, or a similar JavaScript framework.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, CockroachDB, or similar database technologies.
- Experience with large-scale or performance-critical application development.
- Experience with UNIX-like operating systems and CI/CD tools.
- Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- Must meet applicable ITAR citizenship, residency, refugee, asylee, or authorization requirements.
