Base Salary
$186k - $186k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality enterprise web applications and user interface components.
- Build complex single-page applications and reusable React component libraries using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Define application architecture, design artifacts, roadmaps, backlogs, engineering standards, and design constraints.
- Establish component-library contribution workflows, quality gates, accessibility standards, theming standards, and semantic-versioned releases.
- Use Redux and MobX for advanced state management, normalized stores, and scalable forms management.
- Integrate frontends with REST microservices using API contract collaboration, error handling, retries, caching, pagination, OAuth 2.0, and JWT.
- Build WCAG 2.2 AA-compliant interfaces with semantic HTML, ARIA patterns, keyboard and focus management, color-contrast compliance, and screen-reader validation.
- Implement frontend unit, integration, end-to-end, visual regression, and API contract testing and evaluate CI/CD coverage thresholds.
- Identify user-experience and data patterns to improve interface design, accessibility, application performance, coding hygiene, and system architecture.
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and promote emerging technologies.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field plus five years of relevant experience, or a master's degree in one of these fields plus three years of relevant experience.
- Three years of experience designing and developing secure, responsive, and accessible enterprise web applications with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Three years of experience with frontend architecture, reusable React component libraries, Redux, MobX, REST microservices, OAuth 2.0, JWT, accessibility standards, frontend testing, and CI/CD quality gates.
- Relevant experience may include work as a Software Engineer, UI Engineer, Technical Delivery Master, Frontend Developer, Software Development Engineer, Oracle Application Framework & Java Developer, or a related occupation.
