Base Salary
$105k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver full-stack capabilities across React applications, Java services, GraphQL APIs, and Flutter applications.
- Lead technical design for micro-frontends, Backend-for-Frontend services, downstream integrations, and mobile experiences.
- Develop TypeScript, Java, GraphQL, and Flutter solutions using reusable components, architectural patterns, and layered designs.
- Build resilient REST and GraphQL integrations with error handling, caching, retries, authorization, and contract compatibility.
- Implement automated testing, observability, feature flags, telemetry, and progressive delivery practices.
- Mentor engineers through technical guidance, design reviews, pair programming, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with product, design, architecture, security, and engineering partners to deliver customer and claims-associate experiences.
- Improve reusable patterns, documentation, engineering standards, and development workflows across teams.
Requirements
- Significant professional experience designing and delivering full-stack applications in enterprise production environments.
- Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, modern JavaScript, and React.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, including service design, API development, and downstream integration.
- Experience designing and consuming GraphQL and REST APIs.
- Experience with micro-frontend architecture, including independently deployable applications, runtime integration, and shared-dependency management.
- Strong knowledge of frontend state management using Redux Toolkit or comparable technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to apply object-oriented design, SOLID principles, layered architecture, and reusable software design patterns.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, JUnit, Mockito, or Playwright.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for containerized cloud applications.
- Familiarity with Azure services including AKS, Microsoft identity platforms, Key Vault, Redis, Cosmos DB, and Application Insights.
- Experience with structured logging, distributed tracing, metrics, and OpenTelemetry.
- Working knowledge of authentication, authorization, token management, secure coding, and sensitive-data protection.
- Experience with feature-management platforms such as LaunchDarkly or Statsig.
- Preferred qualifications include Dart and Flutter, Riverpod, large multi-team monorepos, server-driven UI, enterprise design systems, Backend-for-Frontend services, contract testing, regulated industries, and reusable engineering standards adopted by multiple teams.
