Base Salary

$159k - $199k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable, secure, production-grade services across the Data, Knowledge, Model, and Agentic platform layers.
  • Develop multi-agent orchestration, model routing, low-code agent-building, integrations, and enterprise data connectors.
  • Contribute to guardrails, observability, RBAC, governance, and predictable AI behavior.
  • Lead technical design discussions, write design documents, conduct code reviews, and uphold quality, security, and performance standards.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and partner with product, design, applied AI, and customer-facing teams.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, resolve production issues, and design incident response frameworks, escalation procedures, and operational playbooks.
  • Create documentation, knowledge bases, tooling, technical standards, service-readiness criteria, and service-ownership practices.
  • Maintain multi-tenant, multi-cloud infrastructure and improve engineering practices, tooling, and CI/CD systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more of Python, Java, Go, or TypeScript.
  • Experience building distributed systems, APIs, and microservices, with strong data structures, algorithms, and system design fundamentals.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, a major cloud platform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD and automated testing, production incident management, RCA processes, and on-call system design.
  • Expert-level AWS and Kubernetes experience, Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, and cloud cost optimization experience.
  • Experience with RFC/PRD reviews, API design patterns, service architecture, technical writing, operational procedures, and team enablement.
  • Ability to deliver complex projects with minimal supervision and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with LLM-powered applications, RAG, tool use, MCP, multi-agent workflows, model serving, fine-tuning, SLM workflows, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Spark, knowledge graphs, data integration, workflow automation, security and compliance, observability, event-driven architectures, enterprise SaaS, AWS Solutions Architect certification, Kubernetes certifications, organizational transformation, service ownership, and platform engineering.
