Responsibilities

  • Develop EMO Management software components for Spectrum Management and the EMO Decision Advisor.
  • Work on the classical, non-AI components of the EMO Decision Advisor.
  • Integrate software components up to TRL5 and potentially support handover to the product development team.
  • Integrate and test software components with the JADES simulation tool.
  • Translate abstract concepts into executable source code and produce software documentation.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • Experience working with VS-NfD data.
  • Programming skills in C and software development experience using an IDE, currently Eclipse.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Doxygen, Git, Wireshark, and Matlab.
  • Knowledge of Linux at command-line level and software documentation.
  • Business-fluent written and spoken English.
  • Desired qualifications include Python and JADES knowledge, communication protocols such as NDAS, CESMO, and Link 16, and avionics software development experience.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts into practical software solutions and collaborate in cross-functional engineering environments.
