Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications for financial systems.
- Optimize and tune Oracle database queries to improve application performance.
- Profile Java applications to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Develop and implement efficient data partitioning strategies.
- Manage and optimize query plans for complex SQL queries.
- Leverage Java multithreading capabilities to improve application performance.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Java development with a focus on performance optimization.
- Strong expertise in Oracle database technologies, including query tuning.
- Experience with Java multithreading and concurrency programming.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL development.
- Knowledge of data partitioning strategies and query plan management.
- Experience with Java profiling tools like VisualVM or JProfiler.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
