Responsibilities

Support SAP production platforms through monitoring, remediation, maintenance, incident diagnosis, and recovery activities.
Investigate incidents and system problems, perform root-cause analysis, facilitate resolution, and document outcomes.
Drive production excellence as an SRE by improving service stability, resilience, performance, and availability.
Create runbooks, knowledge articles, non-functional requirements, test conditions, and production activity documentation.
Configure applications and implement technical or functional changes in accordance with requirements, designs, and segregation-of-duties controls.
Coordinate with Fabric, infrastructure, and cloud delivery services on service availability and resilience improvements.
Manage release, deployment, early-life support, and change activities, including logging results and reporting risks and issues.
Maintain production improvement backlogs, attend program meetings, and prioritize stability and performance enhancements.
Review requirements and specifications and analyze and report on test activities.
May lead delivery and oversee the work of other team members.

At least 5 years of SAP experience with the ability to drive appropriate production engagement and controls.
Strong experience in SAP BW and extensive knowledge of BW4HANA; SAP certification is preferred.
Strong experience with SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4, preferably version 1809 or above.
Working experience with AO and WebI.
Strong understanding of job scheduling and monitoring processes.
Basic ABAP debugging skills.
Experience delivering and supporting mission-critical IT systems in large enterprises and working with service-level agreements.
Strong production management, incident management, problem-solving, and service improvement experience.
Experience envisioning and driving full-stack automation in medium- to large-sized groups.
Ability to work with competing priorities while balancing business demands, standardization, risk reduction, and IT flexibility.
