Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Support cybersecurity engineering activities across space, ground, and hardware systems.
- Provide technical input to Risk Management Framework activities and documentation.
- Plan and execute Mission Based Cyber Risk Assessments and Mission Based Risk Assessments - Cyber.
- Develop threat scenarios for cyber test events, including Cyber Table Top activities.
- Analyze cybersecurity architectures and network diagrams to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and mitigation needs.
- Evaluate network designs against security, operational, and system trade-off objectives.
- Perform cybersecurity testing, analysis, evaluation, validation, and verification.
- Identify and communicate cybersecurity risks requiring early mitigation.
- Coordinate cybersecurity integration across engineering disciplines, system development, and mission assurance activities.
- Produce reports, software files, briefings, spreadsheets, or other government-directed deliverables using approved systems, software, and processes.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience as a cybersecurity engineer supporting Major Defense Acquisition Programs involving space, ground, and hardware systems.
- Experience with Risk Management Framework activities and documentation.
- Experience planning and executing Mission Based Cyber Risk Assessments and Mission Based Risk Assessments - Cyber.
- Experience developing threat scenarios for cyber test events such as Cyber Table Top activities.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, privacy, computer networking, network security, and network design principles.
- Ability to technically analyze cybersecurity architectures and network diagrams.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- DoD 8140 Level II certification, such as Security+, required.
- Secret clearance required.
- Experience with space-based remote sensing systems is preferred.
- Experience developing system security context, preliminary system security Concepts of Operations, and baseline system security requirements is preferred.
- Master’s degree and DoD 8140 Level III certification, such as CISSP, ISSEP, or ISSAP, are preferred.
- Current TS/SCI eligibility is desired.
