Responsibilities
- Design and develop efficient, scalable database solutions using MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions, and perform database tuning and server configuration.
- Design and implement ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and SSIS while maintaining data integrity.
- Contribute to Azure Data Lake and Azure data warehousing solutions and extract large datasets for reporting integrations.
- Develop and maintain SSRS reports based on customer requirements.
- Analyze production database performance using Dynatrace, New Relic, or similar tools and resolve issues within specified SLAs.
- Use Git and SVN for database scripts and configurations and collaborate through JIRA.
- Document database architecture, processes, configurations, and root-cause analyses.
Requirements
- Requires 2–5 years of hands-on IT experience focused on C# ASP.NET and MS SQL web application development.
- Proficiency in SQL, MS SQL Server, SSRS, and SSIS is required.
- Experience with C# ASP.NET programming is required.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and Azure Data Lake is preferred.
- Ability to learn new concepts and facilitate continuous learning, with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
