Responsibilities
- Design and implement API-led connectivity and enterprise integration patterns across hybrid platforms.
- Define and review end-to-end technical designs, security patterns, and integration standards.
- Enable z/OS EE Connect APIs for legacy integration.
- Modernize IBM zSeries applications using COBOL, DB2, and CICS into microservices-based architectures.
- Integrate enterprise systems using Kafka, GCP Pub/Sub, IBM CDC, and APIs.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders on progress, risks, and innovation opportunities.
- Support Agile delivery, DevOps practices, CI/CD, and containerized deployments.
Requirements
- Strong experience with IBM zSeries applications, including COBOL, DB2, and CICS.
- Hands-on experience with z/OS EE Connect API enablement.
- Expertise in REST API design using RAML and JSON.
- Proven expertise in mainframe modernization using microservices architecture.
- Deep understanding of API connectivity and API security patterns.
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns using Kafka, GCP Pub/Sub, IBM CDC, and APIs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
