Responsibilities

  • Design and implement API-led connectivity and enterprise integration patterns across hybrid platforms.
  • Define and review end-to-end technical designs, security patterns, and integration standards.
  • Enable z/OS EE Connect APIs for legacy integration.
  • Modernize IBM zSeries applications using COBOL, DB2, and CICS into microservices-based architectures.
  • Integrate enterprise systems using Kafka, GCP Pub/Sub, IBM CDC, and APIs.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders on progress, risks, and innovation opportunities.
  • Support Agile delivery, DevOps practices, CI/CD, and containerized deployments.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with IBM zSeries applications, including COBOL, DB2, and CICS.
  • Hands-on experience with z/OS EE Connect API enablement.
  • Expertise in REST API design using RAML and JSON.
  • Proven expertise in mainframe modernization using microservices architecture.
  • Deep understanding of API connectivity and API security patterns.
  • Experience with enterprise integration patterns using Kafka, GCP Pub/Sub, IBM CDC, and APIs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
