Responsibilities
- Build out and deliver the One Touch Strategic Order Management platform, including its microservices layer.
- Own end-to-end delivery of the platform and replacement of legacy and vendor trading systems.
- Deliver a multi-year technology roadmap within budget constraints and aligned with business value.
- Define system architecture and design key modules while following technology standards and software development practices.
- Adopt AI toolkits and productivity tools to modernize the development process.
- Support highly automated, low-cost quality assurance and collaborate with production support for reliable operation.
- Partner with Client Connectivity, Execution Services, Risk, regulatory, compliance, and audit teams.
- Manage compute and estate hygiene, security, and vulnerability-related work.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience.
- Strong Core Java, multithreading, concurrency, and low-latency architecture skills.
- Experience with Unix and Oracle.
- Command of modern AI productivity tools.
- Strong engineering background and knowledge of modern architectures and frameworks, middleware, and server, document, and relational databases.
- Strong understanding of modern software development lifecycle practices.
- Solid understanding of equities products and services.
- Strong analytical, technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
