Responsibilities
- Contribute code to Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Vue, microservices, API development, and GenAI proof-of-concept programming frameworks.
- Develop, document, and execute unit, system, integration, and acceptance tests for high-complexity functions.
- Support code merging, branching, and release processes using Git.
- Contribute to new code development, management, process workflows, and developer productivity improvements.
- Communicate and collaborate with RBC partners and employees across Canada and worldwide.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field such as Electrical Engineering, physics, or mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- Development experience with one or more of Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Vue, microservices, API development, and GenAI proof-of-concept prompt-based programming frameworks.
- Experience with testing frameworks is preferred.
