Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and execute manual and automated testing for funding, payment processing, data flows, and system integrations.
- Build and maintain automated test suites using Python, pytest, Robot Framework, Playwright, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Validate REST APIs, file-based integrations, data pipelines, and financial data accuracy using SQL queries and reconciliation techniques.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Execute performance and load testing to assess scalability and transaction processing capabilities.
- Test responsive web applications across browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
- Develop AI-assisted testing solutions and use AI-powered tools to accelerate test development, maintenance, and analysis.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders throughout the Agile lifecycle and participate in Scrum ceremonies.
- Report, track, and validate defect resolution while providing quality metrics and testing insights.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of Quality Assurance experience covering manual and automated testing.
- Hands-on experience with Python automation frameworks such as pytest and/or Robot Framework.
- Strong Playwright experience using TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Advanced SQL skills involving joins, subqueries, aggregations, data validation, reconciliation, and defect investigation.
- Experience testing REST APIs with Postman or code-based testing frameworks.
- Experience implementing and running automated tests in CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter, k6, or Locust.
- Experience testing responsive web applications across multiple browsers and devices.
- Practical experience using AI-powered tools in software testing workflows.
- At least 3 years of experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and availability during US Eastern Time business hours.
- Preferred experience in lending, loan servicing, payments, FinTech, or financial services.
- Preferred experience building custom AI agents or tools using LLM APIs.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence, file-based integrations such as CSV, fixed-width files, and SFTP transfers, and financial compliance requirements.
