Base Salary
$71k - $118k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop software for applications, utilities, and backend systems.
- Design highly automated test and production systems using a systems-based approach.
- Coordinate test-system requirements with test and design engineers.
- Analyze electrical schematics to ensure test systems appropriately stress product functionality.
- Create electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and user documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering, IT, operations, and international teams.
- Travel up to 5% as required and work in both office and laboratory environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or another engineering field.
- At least 2 years of job-related work experience.
- Ability to analyze electrical schematics and understand the nature of designed circuits.
- Ability to create electrical schematics for simple adapter PCBs and mechanical drawings for cables and simple systems.
- Ability to write clean object-oriented code in a .NET-based language or LabView.
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds daily.
- Preferred: familiarity with Python; experience with AC, high-voltage, and RF circuitry; and experience designing automation involving robotics, machine vision systems, and industrial fieldbuses.
