Base Salary
$71k - $118k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop desktop and web-based software, utilities, applications, and backend systems.
- Design highly automated test systems using a systems-based approach.
- Coordinate test-system requirements with test and design engineers.
- Analyze schematics and product functionality to ensure test systems apply appropriate stress.
- Work with engineering, IT, operations, and international teams.
- Travel up to 5% as required, typically less than one week per year.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or another engineering field.
- Two years of job-related work experience.
- Ability to write clean object-oriented code in a .NET-based language and Python.
- Understanding of networking and web technologies including REST and WebSockets.
- Preferred: ability to analyze electrical schematics and understand circuit design.
- Preferred: experience with AC, high-voltage, and RF circuitry.
- Preferred: experience designing automation involving robotics, machine vision systems, and industrial fieldbuses.
- Ability to work in office and laboratory environments and lift at least 25 pounds daily.
