Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and AWS environments.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Maven.
- Improve application and infrastructure availability, resilience, performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with development, QA, functional analysis, and infrastructure teams on operational requirements and product delivery.
- Troubleshoot integration and deployment issues across multiple environments.
- Evaluate DevOps tools and technologies and contribute to architecture and strategic technology decisions.
- Participate in planning, refinement, estimation, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure roles supporting enterprise-scale applications.
- Experience designing and supporting large, complex applications in collaborative Agile environments.
- Advanced hands-on AWS infrastructure management and scaling experience.
- Strong experience administering Jenkins and deep proficiency with Maven.
- Understanding of SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL tooling for backup and restore operations.
- Proficiency with Git and branching conventions.
- Experience with automated testing, debugging, and performance profiling tools.
- Knowledge of Bash, Groovy, and Windows PowerShell.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and influence architectural decisions in distributed, multicultural, global environments.
- Preferred experience with enterprise software, ERP, GRP, IFMIS, cloud-native applications, containerized deployments, AWS certifications, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, Ansible, and AI tools and technologies.
