  • Shape long-term infrastructure strategy and practical plans for compute, storage, and networking platforms.
  • Lead and participate in architecture reviews, design documents, and code reviews for critical infrastructure services.
  • Improve virtualization and orchestration layers for GPU workloads, including hypervisors, device passthrough, SR-IOV, vDPA, virtio, and topology-aware scheduling.
  • Develop and optimize distributed block, file, and object storage, NVMe/NVMe-oF, RDMA data paths, checkpointing, and data loading.
  • Design and improve GPU networking fabrics, high-speed Ethernet, and AI cluster networking using XDP, eBPF, DPDK, OVS/OVN, BGP, EVPN, and VXLAN.
  • Contribute to Linux kernel modules and high-performance network, storage, and device drivers.
  • Integrate GPUs, SmartNICs, DPUs, IPUs, and NVMe hardware from qualification through platform bring-up.
  • Troubleshoot cross-stack production issues and improve performance, observability, capacity planning, and failure-domain design.
  • Evaluate emerging infrastructure technologies, contribute to open-source projects, collaborate with stakeholders, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience building and operating large-scale production infrastructure, ideally in cloud or hyperscale data-center environments.
  • Hands-on experience across compute, storage, and networking, including cross-domain problem solving.
  • Strong systems programming skills in C, C++, Rust, or Go for performance-critical services and control planes.
  • Extensive knowledge of Linux kernel architecture, memory management, scheduling, I/O, networking stacks, and device-driver development.
